The New Year is approaching and when you stop cheering, when the festive season ends, the last fireworks dim out and you sober up from the celebrations, you will be left face-to-face with your New Year’s resolutions. How will you make them work this year? How will you make sure that they won’t fade away this year as they have done each year before? Can you hypnotise yourself into following your perfect solutions?

The truth is that most of us hypnotise ourselves unknowingly into failing instead of succeeding. You need to learn how to hypnotise yourself differently. Hypnotherapy helps to reverse this subconscious pattern; it uses hypnosis as a tool for success, not for failure.

We have all tried the New Year’s resolution. We are all full of great intentions – ready to change our lives for good – and the New Year seems like such a good time to start. We party hard through Christmas; New Year’s Eve is the last day of our old habits – the last time we let ourselves indulge in the old ways – and with the New Year we start a New Life, healthy, wisely, we will exercise, study, we will lose weight, stop smoking or drinking…

Most of our New Year’s resolutions last at least one day, unless they were only the New Year’s wishes. Strong New Year’s resolutions last for over a week and some of them for even longer, but by the end of January most of us forget our life-changing promises. We will do it on our next birthday… or perhaps the holidays will be a better time…

When the New Year’s resolutions are rescheduled we become disappointed with ourselves, even if we try to justify the lapse into our old habits (stress at work, kids have a cold, upset with husband, etc.). And how do we deal with disappointment? We eat, drink or smoke even more, we are even less motivated to go to the gym, we procrastinate more instead of studying…

How can you make it different this year? Is it worth trying if it never works? What is the most essential element of success? How can hypnotherapy help?

The most essential component of any success is a strong belief that you will succeed. This is how hypnotherapy can help. You can hypnotise yourself this year into success, instead of hypnotising yourself into failure.

Hypnotherapy will help you to define the success at first, so your goal will be very clear. Most of us do not even realise what we really want to achieve – it can be so difficult to imagine ourselves really healthy, in a new slim body, energetic, happy, eloquent or educated, etc. In a hypnotic trance, you can visit your future self; you can find and redefine the results of the changes you wish to make.

The next step is to build the goal, to start experiencing it, to make it real. With hypnotherapy you can bring the vision of your shining future to the current moment; you can visit the accomplishments of the milestones in your future life and celebrate them in the hypnotic trance, bringing joy and motivation to the here and now.

Sometimes past trauma or very low confidence and other negative experiences can cloud the mind and the heart, casting shade on the future. It is difficult to build a vision for the future from a black hole of past trauma or overwhelming, negative self talk, even if you’ve had years of counselling and you logically understand why and how the past is affecting you. Hypnotherapy can help you to resolve the past. With the help of a skilled hypnotherapist you can revisit the past in hypnosis and see it in a different light, like a lesson, to change your perceptions and unhelpful beliefs and completely free yourself.

There are no goals that cannot be achieved when you are truly motivated and you strongly believe in the outcome. Hypnotherapy can help you to really own your goals, to make them part of you. As a result you are just on a mission to grow and evolve, and you know that you are succeeding because you have already been there.

The strong vision can help to overcome any obstacles. Hypnotherapy will not only help you to build this vision, it will make it real – so realistic that it will be impossible not to succeed. It is hypnotising yourself into success, focusing on the success, enjoying your New Year’s resolutions without too much pressure and pushing yourself, because this is the real you, just the way you are.

Joanna is an experienced professional hypnotherapist, member of Australian Hypnotherapists Association and Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists. Joanna Malinowska runs a busy hypnotherapy practise in Sydney, Australia – http://www.myhypnotherapy.com.au/ Joanna is a founder and a teacher at Sydney Self-hypnosis Centre – http://www.self-hypnosis.com.au/

I thought I’d share with you a lovely and rather novel process. It is based upon an NLP (neuro linguistic programming) technique that I have seen used and published by a variety of authors in that field.

There are times when we all tend to fall in and out of love of running. I go through highs and lows and my motivation wains from time to time and getting motoring is a lot easier when I am in love with running.

I tend to fall in love with running just before and after big events, when I have bought running gear, when the latest edition of Runners World falls through the letterbox and when I talk to my brother about our schedules each week. However, there are various other means to have a love for running that don’t require the external stimulus that I mentioned in this paragraph. I wanted to share one such process with you today – all aimed at having you fall in love with running. It’ll certainly help all of us with our training as we start our schedules for the New Year, whether they are for planned races or just weight reduction or enhanced fitness. Let me show you how…

7 Steps To Fall In Love With Running

Step One: Before we start with the self-hypnosis process, create a list of the feelings you’d like to have about and towards running. You can write them down and have a written list (which I advise) or you can create a list in your mind as preparation for this exercise.

Your relationship with running may have wavered in a variety of ways over the years, or even if you are just starting out running, so being aware of how you wish to feel towards running is going help you in the process of actually having that sort of regard towards it. Plus, having a vivid idea of the feelings you want to have beforehand is going to ensure that you enhance the relationship with running and help those feelings be ignited later on in this process.

Once you have a good comprehensive list drawn up, pick the 4 or 5 top things from it in order of preference and jot down an occasion when you felt that way before. Just briefly remind yourself of those occasions and have an idea of them in your mind. With the list of occasions besides your top 4 or 5 ways that you wish to feel towards running (love, affection, inspiration, motivation, excitement, enjoyment, fun, healthiness etc) then proceed on to step two.

Step Two: Induce hypnosis. You can do so by any means you desire or know of. You can use a progressive relaxation technique you know of, or just get into a receptive meditative state. Get focused and get yourself feeling receptive.

Once you have induced hypnosis, move on to step three.

Step Three: With hypnosis induced, now run through your top 4 or 5 feelings in the following way whilst associating them with running:

Remind yourself of one of your listed feelings that you wish to have, then recall the occasion you felt it before; make sure you imagine seeing the sights, hearing the sounds and feeling that feeling as vividly as you possibly can.

Generate some of that feeling and then spend a couple of minutes growing it and magnifying it and enhancing it. You might imagine it as a colour that you spread in your body and mind, it might be a sensation that you develop further, or even a sound that resonates within you. Really develop and build that feeling within you, then move on to the next step when you can feel it vividly.

Step Four: Once you can feel plenty of that feeling, think about going running whilst keeping that feeling. Imagine a future run you are going to go on whilst feeling that sensational state within you and associate that feeling with running. Get the great feeling intertwined unmistakably with the experience of running.

Once you feel that you have merged the feeling with running, then move on to the next step.

Step Five: Repeat steps three and four with the other feelings and occasions you previously listed until you have done this with all the feelings you wish to have towards running.

Make sure you take all the time necessary and do this thoroughly and diligently, you’ll benefit greatly from doing so. Each time you do this, imagine developing a strong bond, a wonderful relationship with running. Remind yourself of how much good it is doing you and how much your love for running is building and get excited about running.

Really develop these states and enjoy feeling them and associating them with running and once you have gone through the list, move on to the next step.

Step Six: Once you have developed these feelings for of the feelings you wish to have towards running, then imagine going out on a run (final time for this exercise) and combining all those wonderful feelings. Imagine them merging and associating wonderfully with your run. See the sights of the places you run in, hear the sounds and really imagine being on your run whilst feeling this way towards your run. As you do that, think the words “I love running” to yourself.

Say the words in a way that is undeniably convincing to you that you love running. Say it with vigour and meaning and in a way that you feel like you truly believe it.

Then you can use those words to stimulate these feelings when you plan to go running and throughout your runs. Heck, at the end of a great run, say the words to yourself to anchor those great post-run feelings to the words so you can use them to get your relationship with running developed and built massively.

Step Seven: Once you have done the previous steps, then wiggle your toes and fingers, take a couple of deep, energizing breaths and open your eyes to bring this part of the session to an end.

Test and practice using the words in your mind and really fall in love with running. You see, when you love it, you’ll be more inclined to do it.

There you have it, lets start the year off truly falling in love with running so that we have a wonderful foundation to build upon and so that we are not in any way finding the running season ahead any kind of a chore.

Adam Eason is a best selling author, hypnotherapist and regular marathon runner.

What is a metaphor? A metaphor is a literary figure of speech. Typically, a client uses a metaphor to describe an associated image, story or tangible event to that particular metaphor.

The metaphor represents an invisible, mental interpretation of a certain event meaningful to the client. When clients associate certain metaphors with mental or emotional unpleasantness, they seek relief from the associated unpleasantness.

A Person Creates A Metaphor Using Different Puzzle Pieces or Parts

A client creates the metaphor from many different parts or details. By changing the details, the client releases oneself from the associated unpleasant feelings. So, learning to change the modalities of a metaphor can quickly help a client find the relief he or she seeks.

Remember that a metaphor is nothing more than a belief or a set of beliefs. Human thought is made up of beliefs. Beliefs are made within the clients’ own mind. So, there is actually no harm to changing beliefs as long as the client’s subconscious mind agrees that no harm comes in the change. It is when the subconscious disagrees about the intention of the change that can keep a client feeling ’stuck’ mentally.

A Metaphor Is Made Up of Two Basic Parts

A metaphor is made up of two basic parts. Energy and ‘data’ or bits of information. Separating the energy, especially the negatively associated memory energy of a metaphor from its parts releases the client from the unpleasant feeling. Metaphors associated with pleasant feelings rarely need to be addressed and dismantled because they are no source for client upset.

However, the metaphors clients associate with something upsetting can be changed to help them experience the change they desire. And, changing those modalities can almost instantly bring client relief.

For example, suppose a client associates a cactus with an abusive parent. You can ask the client if he or she would feel better changing something about the cactus picture. If the client agrees that a change can occur safely to the client, go ahead and guide the client to change the picture and notice gentle release. When you do, the client can experience a profound issue breakthrough.

Be A Guide For The Client As He or She Transforms Ideas

When you act as a coach or guide for your client, transformation feels like the client’s idea. That is the most empowering way to help your client feel better. Instead of trying to boss the client and tell him or her what to believe, simply suggest that the client allow him or herself to feel drawn to that which feels peaceful. Leave the rest of the process up to the client and watch the transformation speedily occur!

By the way, do you want to learn more about scriptless interactive hypnotism to create success in your practice?

If so, I suggest you download this free mp3 audio: “Easy Key to Life Method: No-script Hypnosis”.

Self belief plays an important role in many aspects of life. Especially in becoming successful and reaching your goals. How many super successful people do you know that don’t have self belief? I’m sure the answer is most probably none. No matter what area it is in, whether it be sports, business or any other. In order to become successful and strive to be the best you must have self belief.

Many of us (myself included) have dreams of what we would like to achieve in life. I can’t count the number of times I have thought of a business idea, only to talk myself out of giving it a go. Doubting myself over and over again. Coming up with different reasons why it won’t work and why it will fail.

Most successful people fail many times before they make it big. They try over and over to win a championship, or a gold medal, or even succeed in the business world. If they did not have self belief in themselves then they would have given up after the first try.

All these people have their mind set on what they what to achieve. They know they are going to reach there goals. No matter what it takes or how long it takes. Having this level of belief in themselves is one of the keys in becoming successful in any walk of life.

With the use of Hypnosis we can eliminate the old negative thoughts. The ones where you constantly doubt yourself and hold yourself back. By re-training your subconscious we can learn to switch these off once they enter your mind. Replacing them with a positive belief in yourself. Knowing that you can achieve whatever you set out to do.

Staying positive in life is such an important factor in having self belief. No more being knocked back by bad news or uncomfortable circumstances and events. Hypnosis can train you to instead look to the positive side of situations. Learning from your experiences and keeping faith and trust in your self.

This can truly be a life changing experience. Changing your attitude into a winning one, with a positive frame of mind. Nothing will seem to far out of reach and you can finally work towards the goals you have always dreamed of. Without getting knocked back straight away by various outside factors.

The benefits will last a lifetime.

At LifeAndMind.net we aim to help people become more successful in life, achieve what they want to achieve and become the person they have always wanted. Download the 3 free Hypnosis albums now. Or check out the range of Hypnosis tracks on how to stop smoking with Hypnosis.

Do You Work Well Under Pressure? Pressure can take many forms and have an even greater variety of effects. There’s emotional pressure, time constraints, dead lines to meet, expectations to be fulfilled and endless tasks that may have to be juggled. Some pressure is entirely of our own choosing and making whilst at other times we feel as if we are being buffeted by outside forces.

I was sent a photograph by a friend yesterday of her graduation. She has spent the last three or four years completing an MBA in her spare time whilst also holding down an important and many would say stressful full time job. A lot of “time juggling” went on in her life; of that I’m sure, between her employment, MBA work, her husband, family, hobbies and friends. I don’t think I have seen such a beaming smile in a graduation photograph before!

The pressures she had dealt with were of her own choosing and she coped with them brilliantly. It was still pressure though and a huge relief to get that MBA over and done with.

Another friend mentioned in passing the effect of emotional pressure upon her life. Her father had passed away and also a couple of other friends and relatives in a fairly short period of time. She passed the comment that she just couldn’t seem to concentrate. She couldn’t focus. Even her golf game had “gone to pot”.

Emotional pressure is probably the worst type of pressure to deal with, and it doesn’t just affect you in the confines of your own home. Losing someone you love is stressful. Even when a distant acquaintance passes away you inevitably have an emotional reaction. As someone commented the other day “I never used to know where my black tie was. Now I do”. He was making the point that he was becoming concerned about how vulnerable we are in life and what a fragile hold upon it we have.

Stress at work and pressure in the work place is inevitable in the current financial conditions. Countries teeter on the verge bankruptcy, yet alone States and smaller enterprises. Employees frequently work longer hours for lower wages, slashed bonuses and reduced pensions. They also make the effort to become better qualified and so more invaluable to their bosses. There is a lot of unusual pressure in the workplace, on top of the pressures that always existed in business.

You have to learn how to compartmentalize your work. You have to be able to switch off and relax and not take your work home. You have to be able to let go of worries and fears and make the most of the situation. Whilst some people have the “knack” for doing this, others are not so lucky. Some people dwell upon the pressures and suffer beneath their weight.

Using self-hypnosis is a very real way to relax, switch off and change your focus. Hypnosis in itself is a state of relaxation and so just by using hypnosis you will immediately feel calm and peaceful. Additionally hypnosis provides access to your subconscious mind that enables you to change your instinctive thought patterns, reactions and behaviors. Hypnosis provides a very efficient method of coping with pressure.

Roseanna Leaton, specialist in hypnosis downloads to help you to cope with pressure.

P.S.

Many of us have trouble either falling asleep or wake up during the night and have trouble getting back to sleep. In today’s world that is a common issue. Can Hypnosis help us get a good night’s sleep?

The short answer is yes it can. There are many programs and audio CDs out there which promise us relief from insomnia or general sleeping disorders. However, we have to understand first why we are having problems sleeping.

First and foremost in today’s busy world, our mind is full of data, whether important or trivial. Our lives are very full and often hectic. Our daily stress starts in the morning when we wake up still tired and then try to remedy that with a quick coffee and donut on the way to work, while stuck in traffic, listening to the radio at the same time. Work itself can be very stressful when we interact often with co-workers or customers who are difficult and also a heavy workload. Coming home we have to often pick up the kids and drive them somewhere else while thinking about dinner, the laundry, managing homework, etc. Relaxation might simply be falling asleep in front of the television while watching a scary move….

When during those 24 hours have we had time to relax, to be alone with just our thoughts and nothing else? When do we have time to evaluate our day? I used to cherish the drive to work as my alone time. My son uses car time to listen to the latest podcast or audio book. Our lives are simply overflowing with stuff. Is it a wonder then that we cannot switch off and relax? Troubled sleep seems commonplace nowadays.

If you could relax and clear your mind before going to bed, this would help a lot with sleep problems. Hypnosis can help you do that. It can also help to reprogram certain issues you have. This is the true benefit of hypnosis. It can induce deep relaxation which is something most of us totally lack due to our hectic lifestyles. When we relax, we help our brain rejuvenate and then seek other ways out of problems that can really help us. If you think of the joy you can feel by simply being in a park and looking at ducks, for example, this is what hypnosis can do for you. It can re-wire your thinking so that you can tackle life’s problems without being totally stressed out about it.

Hypnosis can help you fall asleep within a short time and also help you go back to sleep if you wake up during the night. It can help create both physical and mental relaxation. This might not happen at once, but be patient, it will take a little time, some practice and a little dedication to the program. However the results are more than worth it. With a good night’s restful sleep you will feel energized and able to easily cope with your day.

Find out the more about how Hypnosis And Sleep can work together to help you get a good night’s sleep.

Imagine a brand new day on the horizon of the hypnotism profession for your interactive hypnosis sessions. Well, that day is here with new, scriptless, NLP-based hypnotism that can profoundly brighten your client’s day.

This type of hypnotism is already fully documented to work better, faster and with greater accuracy than traditional regression or auto-suggestion hypnotism methods. Would you be willing to check this type of hypnosis out? If so, you can see lightning-fast results with your clients and a reduced abreaction incidence, too.

As a matter of human nature, we generally feel skeptical and maybe even leery about doing something different from the familiar and what’s ‘working’, in a new way. Because of this skepticism, we might routinely exclude looking at using a new ’standard’ way of practicing hypnotism. However, by thinking open-mindedly and using this new technique, you might really enjoy improved accuracy and efficiency in your sessions.

What is this new blessing to hypnotism? With this type of hypnosis…
You accurately write short pre-talk client notes and goals. Then, use client metaphors, phrases and terms instead of pre-writing a session script. Using language formatted the way your clients think and express themselves eliminates you guessing how to best help them. You use the client’s concepts to eliminate the scripting guesswork from your interactive session. Then, you ask a predictable, repeatable set of questions. These questions elicit the client’s own metaphor which easily releases the client from his or her issue. Finally, in the appropriate places, you repeat back to the client their own metaphors, terms and words. You say words the way the client would say them, which easily reinforces the shift in the client.
When clients come to you for a session, they are stuck mentally or emotionally without a peaceful solution to resolve some issue. This happens because they are trying to make the subconscious mind work the way the conscious mind works. The two minds operate differently. It’s important to work with each mind according to its own thinking nature.

To completely resolve an issue, it is easiest when the conscious and subconscious minds work together. With this new scriptless, NLP-based hypnotism method, the client’s conscious and subconscious minds work together in a creative, gentle, friendly way. So, because the conscious and subconscious are both communicating, the issue gets released.

Each of us has the answer within us. Using the client’s own metaphors, thinking styles and words, you guide the client to see how to tap into their internal wisdom source. That’s the real value of this improved way of releasing a client from their issue.

If you dare to save yourself time and money, improve the results your clients experience in interactive hypnosis sessions, you’ll love this new way of practicing hypnotism.

By the way, do you want to learn more about scriptless interactive hypnotism to create success in your practice?

If so, I suggest you download this free mp3 audio: “Easy Key to Life Method: No-script Hypnosis”.

If you talk to a dozen rich people most will tell you that they are rich because they first became rich in their minds. In the words of Wayne Dyer:

you’ll see it when you believe it.

They will tell you that their mindset created the riches that grace their lives today. So the question becomes, how can I create a mindset that attracts riches to me? And that is the secret, attracting the riches to you.

If you have seen The Secret, the message is the same, you must first create your objective in your mind, see it, believe it, feel it, and it will be drawn to you. You must create such a sensory rich vision of your objective that it becomes real.

Let’s stop and go back 100 years. Wallace Wattles has written a book called The Science of Getting Rich. Wattles describes the visioning process as musing over the things that you want to bring to you until you can see, feel, and touch them in your imagination. This causes them to form and become ready for you and then by your actions you will actually bring them to you. The action required will come to you as ideas and feelings, things that you can do to bring them into form. As these ideas come to you it is important that you act on them right away.

The visioning step can be enhanced if you use hypnosis. Many people use hypnosis without understanding that they are using it. Hypnosis is a very simple and natural process; you direct your attention to something and just go with the vision. Often the hypnotic process will kick in and draw you deeper into the vision. Don’t worry about the details, just trust that it will happen as you create a more and more detailed picture of your vision.

Often this process can be enhanced by listening to a certain kind of music. In the classical vein there is a type of music called baroque that when performed at the largo tempo (60 beats per minute) will enhance this state. An example of this music is Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons – Winter. Playing the music will help you slip into a highly relaxed state with heightened awareness. Today you can find a variety of new age music that has been produced for this purpose.

While in this state it is important to flesh out your vision while dropping in ideas that will build your mindset and create stronger belief in the process. You can do this by incorporating ideas from The Science of Getting Rich. Read the book and write out the best ideas to incorporate into your sessions. Then simply call them to mind while you are visioning and you will install them in your subconscious where they will automatically flow into your life.

This is the reason why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The rich have a vision of the things they want while the poor are busy focusing on the lack in their lives and how to meet the next bill that comes their way. Learn to transcend your circumstance and embrace the wealth that can be yours.

This process is known as The Science of Getting Rich Hypnosis. You can do it yourself in the manor that has been described and you would get all of the benefits, but now it has been combined with cutting edge binaural beats to enhance the effect. All of the affirmations and suggestions have been created for you and recorded. You need only listen to gain the benefit.

Mindset seems to be the watch word these days. If you are not succeeding in your business perhaps it is your mindset. Henry Ford said it best,

whether you think you can or think you cannot you are right.

You need a cutting edge way to create a mindset that will serve you and help you achieve your goals. One way to do this is by using hypnosis to create a millionaire mindset.

Hypnosis is a way to put thoughts of your choice into your subconscious mind so that you will automatically accept them and act on them. The question then becomes what kinds of thoughts make up a millionaire mindset? For the answer to this question we will turn to a 100 year old book that has been proven to create millionaires. The book is called The Science of Getting Rich. It was written by a man named Wallace Wattles who said that by doing things in “a certain way” that anyone could become rich. The idea then is to take the ideas from the book, distill them to only the best, and use them to create suggestions that will build a millionaire mindset within you.

Go through each chapter of the book and write down the key points and then form them into positive statements to form your mindset. Be certain that each statement is clear and unambiguous because your subconscious mind will act on them just the way they are.

Hypnosis is not difficult to perform; you take some deep breaths as you close your eyes and begin to address your body parts telling them to relax. You do this while breathing slowly and deeply. After a short while you will begin to create an altered state known as the alpha state. This is a state of waking relaxation and is the beginning of your journey into hypnosis. After achieving this restful state you begin to present the millionaire mindset ideas, just causally drop them into your subconscious by stating them in your mind. These ideas will need to have been prepared and studied ahead of time, as described, so that you can go smoothly from inducing relaxation into implanting these ideas. So there you have the plan, it is called The Science of Getting Rich Hypnosis and it is simple, straight forward, and can be easily done by anyone. It will install your millionaire mindset and will put your success on auto-pilot.

The Science of Getting Rich Hypnosis can be done in this way and you would get all of the benefits but now it has been combined with cutting edge binaural beats to enhance the effect. All of the millionaire mindset affirmations and suggestions have been created for you and recorded. You need only listen to gain the benefit. Visit http://www.therealmikegriffin.com/ and find out all of the details

My friend’s very favorite condiment is ketchup. In fact, the only other condiment she uses is salt. I believe by her food inflexibility she is short-changing herself at meal times.

Hypnotherapy sessions can be like that. If you only know one hypnosis technique for client transformation, I believe you’re short changing yourself in your hypnosis business. This article contains ideas about verbally interacting with a client compared with receiving their issue input via an ideo-motor response.

Before discussing some of the differences between these two hypnosis visit techniques, imagine connecting with clients. Which do you think builds rapport faster? By carrying on a conversation or by ‘talking to the hand’?

When you carry on a two-way, interactive conversation with another person you both hear ideas expressed. Scientists already know that we understand communication the fastest via visual interactions. Hearing or auditory communications are the second fastest way to clearly communicate. And reading the written word is the slowest way of communicating.

That being said, in interactive hypnosis sessions verbally sharing ideas with a client offers a fast way to quickly understand shared unique viewpoints about an issue. I believe this can most effectively bring to conscious awareness real possibilities of most effective issue release.

Also, verbally interacting with your client encourages further ideas expression. This can be a great way to build self-esteem in a client. After all, the more a client feels comfortable sharing his or her ideas and feels genuinely heard, the faster clients build self-esteem.

With interactive hypnosis, your client quickly builds a trustworthy rapport with you as you share ideas that help them achieve their goals. Developing a rapid trustworthy rapport increases your credibility as a respected hypnosis professional.

In ideo-motor response mechanism responses, the client can effectively work with a trauma without consciously inviting excessive abreaction. However, using a scriptless, interactive hypnotism method during the client session can greatly decrease the abreaction incidence anyway.

When you ask clients to let an ideo-motor response mechanism do the answering for them, I think in some cases this can reduce the hypnotherapist’s credibility. What if it doesn’t work? What if you client is not very creative-minded? What if you can’t think of a yes or no question to ask? What if a yes or no answer doesn’t really communicate what’s going on? That might cause a delay in getting reasonable answers to quickly eliminate the client’s issue. And that client might wonder if you have other ways to help improve his or her situation. Yet, there are times when ideo-motor is the best technique especially if the client is in deep trance.

With interactive hypnosis, the hypnotist asks a question and the client answers during hypnosis. In the best methods, the hypnotist ask questions that guide the client to releasing their own issues with their own metaphors. There is no need even for scripts. There is no need for sonambolism as interactive hypnosis works best in a lighter state of trance. If it is the first hypnosis experience for a client, light trance may be all he or she may be able to achieve anyway.

So, as you see, there are pros and cons to these two hypnotherapy methods. I encourage you to develop your expertise in both skill areas and apply them as appropriate to your client’s issues. Find a balance and appropriately use them for specific client circumstances to be seen as the awesome hypnotherapist that you are.

By the way, do you want to learn more about scriptless interactive hypnotism to create success in your practice?

If so, I suggest you download this free mp3 audio: “Easy Key to Life Method: No-script Hypnosis”.
