Chakras and their functions were first mentioned in the Vedas, ancient Hindu texts of knowledge. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel and it refers to the seven energy centers in our body.

Inside every human being there is a network of nerves and sensory organs that interprets the outside physical world. At the same time, within us resides a subtle system of channels (nadis) and centers of energy (chakras) which look after our physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual being.

Astral projection, or astral travel is an esoteric interpretation of a type of out-of-body experience that assumes the existence of an “astral body” separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it. Astral projection is experienced as being “out of the body”. Scientific evidence is now suggesting that we can leave our physical body and that we may even survive the death of that physical body.

Scientists have since found that this alternative frequency heard inside the brain actually aids the brain at achieving a relaxed meditative state.
